"Day Case Department - appointment to have tooth out"

My initial appointment to have my tooth out was cancelled by the dental department in January 2012 as they would not give me anaesetic within 6 weeks of already having it for another procedure. My appointment in August at the Day Case did not go ahead as I did not have two people with me throughout the procedure and to monitor me afterwards. Surely this is the nurses responsibility to monitor the effects of anaesetic and not the lay person. When I asked why I could not go in recovery on Pasteur Ward, I was informed they do not have this recovery ward any more. Thats not what it said on my letter!
