I had an endoscopy investigation done at Crawley Hospital in very nice and clean premises.
The receptionist, two assistants to the specialist and Dr Cooper were professional and lovely.
I opted for the throat spray rather than the sedation. It isn't a pleasant procedure as you have a tube down your throat but if you expect it and follow what the nurse tells you to do it's bearable. In total there were 3 members of staff who made sure I was fine. It doesn't last too long - approx 4-5 minutes. The beauty of the throat spray is that you can leave the hospital straight after whereas on sedation you have to wait to recover.
I could not fault the staff or the premises, thank you very much.
