I was 6 months pregnant and due to the Gwent losing my notes they somehow ended up in Panteg.
My pregnancy wasn't very good and I had not been seen by a midwife. However when I was seen I was coming up to 6 months and I knew something was up as the baby was not moving. I was admitted and had a scan and a Dr came in and who looked at the scan and said very rudely 'your baby is dead! ' I cried and said 'what? ' she replied 'did you think everything was hunky dory?!' It's an experience I had to put to the back of my mind. . . as the words that came out of that persons mouth were words no expectant Mum wants to hear.
