"Waiting for my daughter's tests"

My daughter was born 11 weeks early so is under the care of a paediatrician at Medway Maritime Hospital.

We have concerns about her, as she has some physical issues. After seeing her the doctor sent my daughter for some x-rays and said if they were normal she would have other tests. After her x-rays turned out normal, we were told we had to wait another 3 months before any discussion for further tests.

She may not be their top priority but try telling any parent they have to wait three months knowing something is wrong with their young child but with no idea what before tests are even discussed, and that is without waiting times for appointments.

If it takes 6-8 weeks for her appointment for tests, starting from the date of her next appointment, it will have been a year since we expressed concerns, and we still won't have an answer.

Completely unacceptable.
