About: Six Degrees IAPT

(as the patient),

I am writing to express my appreciation of the emotional well-being service which has successfully concluded for me today.

The emotional well-being practitioner was outstanding in forming a professional relationship with me where I felt understood and trusted to find my own way forward with challenging life circumstances where I felt under extreme emotional pressure, the main factor being my mother’s worsening dementia and being her carer and next of kin.

I have had to be assertive with a range of multi-disciplinary professionals and the result has been that my mother has finally been assessed as needing residential care. I feel I have now got my life back and the flexible support of your service has been a key for myself gaining a better quality of life. I would recommend your service.
