"Heroin-free, thanks to Guernsey House"

About: Guernsey House

(as a service user),

I have been a service user at Guernsey House for 10 years.

In that time I have had a number of relapses off heroin. My doctor Jane Gordon has never once judged me and has always made me feel more than just a service user. On a number or occasions she has gone beond the call of duty to get me back on the straight and narrow.

I am now pleased to say that I have been heroin-free for a couple of years and at last I have been able to come off my methadone script, none of which would have been possible without the ongoing support from the staff at the clinic.

Guernsey House has helped me to change my life, I don't know what I would have done without the service.

Thank you for taking the time to post your lovely comments.

It is great news that you are now off script and that you have found your experience at Guernsey House so positive. I will circulate your comments to the rest of the team, including Dr Jane Gordon.

Congratulations and all the best for the future.
