"Superb, life changing and thoroughly professional neurorehabilitation team"

I have multiple sclerosis and was referred for physiotherapy from the Bolton neuro-rehabilitation team when I was having more mobility problems.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received. The assessment was the most thorough I have ever had and I felt so supported and appropriately challenged at the same time while undertaking the physiotherapy.

I was totally involved in decision making and was appropriately introduced by the physio to other professionals in the team - OTs- who were able to add their expertise too. The physiotherapist supported me and made other referrals to help me begin to tackle long standing weight problems. Truly life changing!

She also helped me represent my difficulties to the orthopaedic surgeon. All this whilst working on a physical therapy programme with me. In my experience it is very rare for people to follow through and do everything they say they are going to do. Well, this service was the exception!

The Physiotherapist and the OT's did absolutely everything they said that they would, and put it all in writing for me too, which was really helpful as my memory is not good. The teams intervention with me was extremely timely and fantastically beneficial to me.
