(as the patient),

I have only just recieved an appointment at April house for my eating disorders which have extended for over nine years now. I had my 'assessment' appointment in June 2011 and was put on the waiting list as urgent. In total I have been waiting over a year for an appointment I will struggle to get to,

Dear Sonya,

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide me with your feedback in relation to the wait you have experienced to receive an appointment at April House. I have passed your comments on to the Team Manager and await her response regarding why you have had such a long wait.

You have mentioned that you will struggle to get to your appointment, and I would be keen to see if there is anything we may be able to do to ensure that you can attend. Please contact me either by email on hp-tr.Complaints@nhs.net or by telephone on 02380 874065 to discuss this further.
