I recently hand my fist stay in hospital, not bad at 68!
I have nothing but praise for the hospital and staff. My only suggestion is that the discharge process could be improved.
I was told I could leave and provided with a wheel chair but I then had to wait for a letter from the doctor. After this, I then had to wait for my drugs from the pharmacy. I was told I was unable to collect them myself but had to wait for them to be brought up to the ward.
Surely this process can be improved or things can be put into place before we are told we are being discharged.
