"Problems with food from Menu to Patient's bed"

About: Southern General Hospital

(as the patient),

How do you sometimes { numerous times } never get what you chose of the menu? For instance I chose Tomato soup thats all for lunch nothing else

ticked on the lunch menu, what did I get. . wait for this an orange juice and a white bread tuna mayo sandwich, when the I asked to get it changed it came soup yes but lentil [ cor blimey ].

Also I ticked a roll for breakfast nothing else but a plate of cornflakes come as well, and the menu has mysteriously recieved a tick at the corn flakes.

As I see it the food goes into wht they call the kitchen but it really is just a reheat room cos the food comes there and gets finished of and then put onto plates, so you just need to look at the menu then dish that choice out and on to a tray with the patients name on it simple, yes you would think so, then in my experience did this fail time and time again and we wont go into the brown bread and white bread choice because this seems like rocket science.

Dear Shabbah,

Thank you very much for taking the time and trouble to provide your feedback. I'm very sorry that you had so many difficulties with menu choices. Food is a very important part of the care and treatment we offer and it is dissapointing that you encountered these problems.

Thank you for sharing your comments. I will ensure that your comments are passed to Facilities colleagues at the Southern General Hospital.
