About: The Maples Medical Centre

I phoned for call back from the doctor and receptionist knew by my breathing it was an emergency. The doctor rang me back to attend ASAP . I was examined and SATS really low. Very short of breath .Given a nebuliser in the surgery and ambulance called to take me into hospital. I spent 9 days in hospital. From phoning doctor to being in A and E was 70 minutes.

This is doctor being ( on the ball)

I have been with the Maples many years when we queued outside down the the path and could never imagine having a different surgery. Thank you to the doctor, I really believed you saved my life.

Thank you for posting this Mrs Clover . It was great to hear how responsive the practice was when you were acutely ill. I’m very pleased to hear that you are recovering after a period of intensive treatment and will be in touch to follow you up . I will pass on your comments to the receptionist and doctors involved as they don’t often get this type of feedback and it will really be appreciated. Kind regards Dr Peter Fink
