When enquiring about a repeat perscriptionat at the surgery for tramuleif for my wife and myself on friday 20/09/2019 i was informed that the tablets were due on the 21/09/19 , as we have our medication delivered and the pharmacy does not deliver over the weekend this would have left us without any pain relief over the weekend. As i was trying to explain this to the receptionist and wondering why 12 hours (as our medication is delivered usually at 2000hrs) was such a sticking point, a person who appeared from the rear of reception told me to be quiet ! while she spoke to her colleague about my situation, she did arrange for us to receive 8 tramuleif each that evening, On enquiring with the pharmacy this morning I was told that th perscription for the remaining tablets has been withdrawn. It is little wonder that the N.H.S is short of money if it is wasted by each perscription is charged for by the pharmacy, this is sheer bloody mindedness by the surgery. I am 73 years old and served in H.M Forces I was also a sargeant Instructor in the Army Cadet Force and Scout Leader and never before have i been treated so badly. If this the respect that is showen to veterans then i dread to think how those who never served are treated.
