I recently moved to Somerset at 6 months pregnant and needed a new surgery close to home so although most of the reviews are bad I Thort id give this surgery a chance. Since joining it I haven’t once been able to see my APPOINTED MIDWIFE I am

Now 8 months pregnant and should be seeing my midwife every week but everytime ive called or tried to book online I haven’t been able to see my midwife as no appointments are available or appointments are available with a complete different midwife team at Hendford hill surgery. This has meant I’ve had to go to the maternity ward each week to see a different midwife every time re explaining my pregnancy as I’ve had no consistency in seeing the same midwife. And also paying over £5 to park every time where as the surgery is a stones throw from my house.

absolutely Ridiclous. So I seen a midwife at the hospital on Tuesday she said Ideally I need to see my appointed midwife now so close to labour and to book into see her next week. So I logged onto my app. Tried to book for next Wednesday which is my Midwife’s clinic no appointments at all at Abby manor. Only at Hendford lodge which isn’t my Midwife’s clinic. So I’m left with what I’m meant to do. I haven’t seen my appointed midwife since I moved here. Which means I have no birth plan in place as your appointed midwife should visit you at home now. Stress that I could do without at 37 weeks pregnant.
