This year I was being treated by the Women's Hospital, and was quite upset by delays and being called for appointments which were a waste of time, as they hadn't received the results.
When, I was eventually that told I needed major surgery, and I was being transferred to city hospital, I was to say the least worried and concerned. I was admitted within less than 3 weeks.
Following surgery, I was looked after in Ward D 17. The staff were amazing and supportive. they knew how scared I was, and took time to explain things.
The staff on this ward, are hard working, kind and considerate. They respected everyone's dignity and nothing was too much trouble for them to help you.
I may not have complete faith in the N H S, but the staff on this ward are without doubt, a credit to city hospital , their profession and to the N H S.
Amazing staff.
Thank you
