About: Oakhaven Hospice

(as a service user),

Day Hospice is a welcome day each week. 

Content of day varies and is very good.

The Care received on this day is excellent and I feel safe, as my mobility is not good due to Parkinsons disease and back damage due to Myeloma, I am picked up at about 10am and returned at 3:45p.m.

The Bathing service is also excellent as I am unable to use bathroom at home.

Oakhaven is a wonderful place, not just for the service they offer, but the staff and volunteers are, kind, caring and friendly.

Thank you for you feedback, we are so pleased you find the Day Hospice excellent and most importantly that you feel safe. It is also good to hear you find the Bathing service excellent. This is a fairly new service which we are delighted to be able to offer to Oakhaven patients. Thank you also for taking the time to give us some feedback, it is appreciated.
