"I’m currently under the cochlear implant Center..."

About: St Thomas' Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

After being left with severe bilateral hearing loss due to Lyme disease I was referred to st.thomas’s and guys cochlear implant clinic..... not knowing just how very complex and involved having an ci was, it’s been a huge whirlwind, for my family and myself. On Saturday the 14th is September I had my internal device fitted. If it wasn’t for the most amazing treatment I’ve received I don’t know where I’d be. Up to now it’s involved numerous appointments. Lots and lots of information to take in. Each and every person I’ve met along my journey have been simply incredible, heaven sent angels.. if you are about to start this journey....fear not. Your in super safe hands. Thank you all.
