I had a 2 weeks stay in the hospital and the surgeons involved in my surgery were amazing, they done the nest they could with a difficult and long surgery.
My care in intensive care was fantastic, I was then moved to Sahara b then a and my experience was very different. I was left un washed, my friends and family had to arrive to make sure I was washed as I wasn’t Mobile. My bedding wasn’t changed they had to ask for that to happen. My trolley was moved twice were I couldn’t get a drink and consequently ended up on a drip because I was dehydrated. The staff were so run off their feet it was very worrying.
I could go on but I don’t want to scare any further. I’m alive and grateful for that.
