It’s alright but not the best to be honest, the good things are the staff are lovely, caring and helpful lots to do fun activity’s.The bad side is my concern is patients are left to self harm for hours on end, for example when I was there I was left to self harm for an hour which could have been worse!!! There should be a staff member present with patients it’s poor this made me pretty angry patients can do much more damage without a staff member present. The last bad thing is everything seems to move so slow the communication is very bad in pebble lodge, CPAs are full of uncertainty of what’s going to happen next.

We take all feedback and comments from young people seriously and like to involve them in service improvement. As you know young people at Pebble have individual regular reviews and planning with the professionals to look at aspects of their care and treatment.

I understand why CPA meetings can feel challenging as there are lots of different professionals from a very wide range of agencies trying to make the best decisions with families and young people. As you will also be aware there is a weekly presence of advocacy on the ward who can support young people in these meetings.
