"Staff went extra mile to chase test results"

About: Monkfield Medical Practice

I was urgently waiting X-Ray results before having Physio on a painful back in case of fracture, but it had been over 2 weeks and no results yet from Addenbrookes. A member of staff at the practice reception offered to chase on the phone whilst I was in reception, and when hearing X-Ray result was complete arranged for it to be emailed to the practice, offered to watch the email inbox for it arriving, and duly rang me 2 hours later when it arrived so that I could collect the report and keep my physio appointment for the following working day. It was much appreciated, as the delay wasn't due to the practice, but in the verification process of the X-Ray report at Addenbrookes, but it meant I could get on with treatment as soon as possible.

Thankyou for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, this is an example of behaviour that I do encourage within the team, however we cannot always realistically deliver upon. As always I will share the feedback and make sure the individual concerned receives it and enjoys a positive moment, that makes the hard work worth while.

Regards
