"Car Parking"

Hello Beverley, thank you for your comment about Parking at Norwich Community Hospital, sorry that you had difficulties accessing the pay and display machines.

I have checked with our Travel Team who have advised that

Pay and Display machines at Norwich Community Hospital do not accept notes or card payments themselves, as part of our system we incorporate a 'pay by phone' method as an alternative to paying at the machine, details for which are displayed both on each Pay and Display machine and at our Main Reception. This system is called Phone and Pay, and allows visitors to make a credit or debit card payment by phone call to an automated payment line. In addition, the system can also be accessed by an 'app' which is available to download onto a smartphone, and is called Phone and Pay.

This system does provide information on a method by which such payments can be made. Unfortunately, as the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust operates their car park separately from the car parks managed by the Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust, the systems used cannot be shared between them, and instead each NHS trust makes its own arrangements, which will necessarily vary.
