Mum attended A/E following a fall in September '19 (mum is 87 years of age)
She had a large lump on the back of her head and a very painful knee. We were in A&E for a total of 3 hours and at no point did they do any obs, BP, pulse or anything else and did not examine her or looked at bump on her head. Eventually sent her for a CT scan and xrayed knee and all normal. Mum was discharges home and informed that OT would be in touch the next day.
Had three phone calls in total from OT and rapid response team who came out ans assessed mum including full obs, assessment, advise and reassurance. Great service and very obliging and friendly members of staff. Great backup at a very stressful time for a family.
