"Diving accident"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Emergency Medicine Hyperbaric Centre

(as a service user),

I spent 3 nights in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the quick reactions of Roland and the nurses from the hyperbaric Unit. I had a diving accident and if it wasnt for these people I could have been paralysed.

This was more than these guys just doing their job. They showed me warmth and made me feel safe when I was at my most vulnerable. I cannot thank them enough, I will be forever in their debt.

God bless them all

Dear lionfd35

Many thanks for taking the time to post regarding your recent experience following a diving accident.

The team including Roland will be delighted to read that the care and support they provided had such a positive impact on you and prevented further complications. It sounds like a really frightening experience for you but glad the team were able to make you feel safe and provided the reassurance that you needed.

With best wishes for the future and I hope that you continue to recover from your accident.

Kind regards

Fiona
