Please stop using cheap useless anticonvulsants that lower folic acid and mean you can’t actually take folic acid.It does not work.Epilepsy ruins quality of life and makes costvof living more expensive and things like travel insurance impossible or as much as the flight.Please could you challenge these problems and not leave up to charities or the patient.We need to see more results of research.Although I have to say all Neurologists have been very good it’s the epilepsy specialist nurse helpline that’s difficult to access.
