Referred by consultant for a scan.Arrived rather early as I live in Worcester and had never travelled to this hospital before,so was nervous not to be late.

Nevertheless,a very pleasnt welcome from the two receptionists and one even escorted me to the waiting room, showing me location of the toilets,an important detail when one has had a long journey by bus.

A member of the team called me into a room to have a cannula fitted and checked that I had managed to make sure my clothing was metal-free. This team member made not only me but also other patients who arrrived later feel more relaxed by her humour,and careful explanation of exactly what was happening.

Again,when called in for the actual imaging,the two members of the team there,introduced themselves and again gave a good ,clear,accurate explanation of every thing to expect.,and the necessity to wait for a while afterwards before leaving the department.

Overall, a very good team of professionals,who despite being very busy as we all know,managed to make patients feel cared for and at ease.
