"Absolutely amazing place"

I had a heart attack out of the blue and the ambulance crew said they were taking me to Liverpool Heart and Chest. I was a bit concerned as I live just outside Warrington and thought they would have taken me to the nearest hospital. They definitely made the right call. When we arrived, there was a team waiting for me. I went straight into the catheter lab and, within 15 minutes or so, they'd found the blockage and inserted a stent. I went up to the coronary care unit overnight and then spent a couple of days on Birch Ward before being discharged.

Everyone I encountered, without exception, was professional, as you'd expect, but the level of care, friendliness, and empathy was simply outstanding. I couldn't have asked for better care. I want to say a great big thank-you to everyone here.
