"Awful Care"

About: Hammersmith Hospital / Rheumatology

My consultant was awful, gave up after one test, didn't seem to care about my suffering. If you don't know how to do your job and cannot figure things out, set your ego aside and pass me on to another consultant instead of taking me for a clown.

For my follow up appointment I contacted PALs and requested I see a different consultant, simple enough, right? They told me they have to ask the department I was seeing if that was possible and I was told it was not...without any reason. Very unprofessional. What's so difficult about having to switch my consultant? This is a case of being unhelpful just because you can be unhelpful.
