I cannot fault any GP once I have seen them during an appointment. I also fully appreciate that the demand for GP's is out of control with all GP's being over subscribed.
The surgery is let down completely by the reception team, there is a lack of empathy, professionalism and passion for the role. It also appears that they do not realise the room behind the reception is not soundproofed. I have heard on more then one occasion moans/groans as receptionists have been asked to deal with enquiries. Also disagreements between staff.
If the professionalism of the reception team was improved, then also the reputation of the surgery would benefit.
