I strongly disagree with all the negative comments regarding the receptionists at my surgery. I find them all very helpful, empathetic and very efficient in all areas. I understand the frustration of no appointments but a lot of the time if patients called and cancelled instead of not attending then maybe that would make it easier for the receptionists to offer appointments. They are not being nosy when asking what may be wrong they are only trying to advise that you may not need to see a GP but could be seen by pharmacist etc.

Well done Cottingham medical centre, I've been a patient here for years and no complaints.
