"Great care in A&E and on Kynance and Kerensa Wards"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Older people's healthcare

My 88 year old mother has spent the last three weeks in Treliske Hospital ( spanning August and September 2019). She has recently been moved to a Hospital closer to her home and will hopefully be coming home very soon.

My family and I just wanted to express our huge thanks and appreciation for everyone who has cared for my Mum. Each and everyone of them have been fantastic but we would like to make an extra special mention for the Occupational Therapist, who we met on Kynance and Kerensa Wards. She has been really great and we are so appreciative of her ( and everyone else's) efforts. .Thank you so much.

Dear Anonymous,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you on here. I was so pleased to read about your mothers care from the Occupational Therapist and indeed the wider teams whilst on Kynance and Kerensa ward here at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.

I am responding to you as a member of the Patient and Family team but I would really like to share this comment with the Occupational Therapist personally. With this in mind, if you can remember her name, please email us: rch-tr.PPI@nhs.net. In the meantime, I will share your story with Kynance and Kerensa as well.

I hope that your mum is now home and doing well.

Best wishes,

Jess
