"Dissapointing Service"

Can't get through on the phones most of the time. After days of ringing (bearing in mind I also work and raise a family so I can't just sit by the phone). I spent several separate 20 mins - 1/2 hr periods trying to get past the ringing tone and the message that the staff would be with me as soon as they could be. The best of this is that after a certain amount of time I was just cut off anyway and had to ring back again.

Finally got through to be told there are no appointments for the next 9 days it is the second time out of the last 2 occasions of calling, that I have been advised to use a walk in centre.

I have been waiting for an asthma review for well over a year having been sent a reminder some months back as if it is my fault that I have not had one. When trying to book they say they do not have the staff to conduct the reviews.

I was told on the phone that the lateness of my call, (given I had been unable to get through) meant that any available appointments before then had been allocated.

This is a poor service with little regard for patients and certainly must be failing targets. I read the reviews on here by others and truly wonder why my experience is so shoddy.
