Spent hours trying to get hold of the ABC clinic today - Spent hours ringing to get constant Line busy message. Rang another area of maternity at the hospital who said ‘well I’m not sure what to say’ - how about help or take a quick walk to check if the phone is off the hook by mistake or take our number for someone to call back!! Absolute joke! Lots of people say the government under fund the NHS which is probably true - But there seems to be this stigma that all nurses are great and do a fantastic job (some do) but the majority of the ones I’ve come across are jobsworths - not to mention far too relaxed to say they work in an urgent assessment clinic and deal with pregnant ladies!! Every time I go for a scan I’m required to see a Dr and spend between 2-4 hours waiting around!! No urgency whatsoever! Lack of facilities as well! Oh and parking is a nightmare as well as a rip off!
