I attended with a significant nose bleed at 8-30 am the department was quiet and waiting time reasonable. After triage we awaited the Registrar to assess the situation, he helped my daughter take me to the treatment area and listened carefully to my explanation before deciding on treatment. Owing to an ongoing condition bloods were taken and it was at this point that the waiting tme became considerable. This was understandable.
I was always fully informed about the progress and the procedure. Another wait for ENT specialist acceptable he was in surgery.
He came and again listened to me talked about; the incident and a decision was made.
At no point did I feel excluded or side lined and we fully accepted all waiting times.
After several hours I became cold immediately., blankets were brought and I was monitored and checked upon and kept as comfortable as possible. I do not know individual names but everyone was caring and supportive at all times. Thank you .
"The treatment i received today was exemplary"
