"Breast care at Crawley Hospital"

About: Crawley Hospital / Breast surgery

(as a friend),

i have been escorting a friend to all her treatment appointments at crawley redhill and guildford and i must say i think the way she has been treated at crawley hospital has been terrible.

first all her records were lost and the staff blamed guildford - just to then find them on the admin desk and told we would have to return in two weeks.

just before the opp, as no letters or calls had come, i made a lot of calls to the hospitals to be told no appointment had been made but the opp was going ahead. then at in the early evening we had a call to say 'no you must come in' so every thing can be gone over (this would be good as she is frightened of the opp).

we arrived 10 minutes before the appointment and waited and waited. my friend was called in to see the doctor at almost 2hours later just to sign a form - she was out of his office by 3 minutes later and told by one of the nurses that all the mix up was because the admin support staff member was on holiday.

this is not very good for a small opp but for the removal of the breast or any other organ this is wrong.
