"Good care for my small cell lung cancer"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Chemotherapy Southern General Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I have recently been diagnosed with terminal Lung cancer.

The care l have received from the health service has been excellent from staff and doctors at the Southern General A&E for the initial diagnosis through to the nurses, doctors and consultants at the New Victoria Hospital.

The standard of care has been excellent, they have answered every possible question l could throw at them.

I have to sing the praises of the nursing staff of clinic P where l have now completed round three of my chemotherapy treatment. The staff make you feel comfortable and safe in their care and are happy to explain every aspect of your treatment, and answer all your questions. The staff are very efficient but with a relaxed feel to the clinic helps reduce patients stress and anxiety levels.

Dear Emily Grant

Thank you for your kind comments about the care you received from us in Clinic P.

I am glad to hear we made your experience more relaxed and comfortable. It's also good to know that you felt we explained things well and were able to answer all the questions you had.

We try hard to create the right atmosphere in Clinic P and it's good to know that we got it right for you.

All the best for the future

Natasha
