"Hip Replacement at North Devon District Hospital "

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / General surgery North Devon District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Treatment delayed- supposed to have hip replacement mid Feb. Then late March but it was then cancelled- I had the gown on and all ready and then I was sent home (reason- 10 emergencies). Had hip replacement mid April. The worst thing was having the sock on as it was painful. It was removed after two hours of hell (I kept pushing the button).

Annoying- the bell kept buzzing in another room but nobody was in the room (Faulty bed).

The staff were great, the food was O.K and the doctors were good. Hip replacement- I don't feel better yet. I have also been in A&E today because of pain in the chest. Basically very satisfied with treatment.
