My son was admitted via the GP on Friday afternoon.
We were seen quickly but it was clear the doctor knew it was 5pm and rushed us home! On reading the discharge notes he stated ‘no previous history of pain or swelling on this side’ however I told him and the GP notes stated the same issue occurred 6 months prior and he has also had an eye infection on the same side!
The nurse told us to be back at 9am Monday and at 10:24 no one had even acknowledged we were waiting!
I had arranged childcare for my baby for the appointment and after explaining this a nurse said she’s check but never came back!
I have had great service when my baby has been in 3 times before but I am extremely dissatisfied with ward 3 and the staff this time
