"Newborn experience"

Very disappointing level of care, our first child was born here a couple of days ago and the only saving grace while my partner was in labour was very good.

Lack of care from the midwives (apart from one young lady), lack of advice for me and my partner, failure to acknowledge I (father) was even part of the process on many levels. It even got to the point a day before the delivery date, we considered moving hospitals. Rude staff constantly and just a general feeling of unwelcomeness and no friendly warmth you would see in hospital usually from the staff.

There were plenty of issues with the hospital, we were told we had to come for a scan on Monday 2nd September for a growth scan at 12pm, my partner explained to hospital that I was in work and couldn't get up until maybe 4 half past 4. We arrived at 4.15 and waited until approx 6.45pm where a doctor came in to tell us growth scans couldn't be done after 5 pm. Wasted Journey, so we came back on Tuesday 3rd September, waiting for another 2 hours to be told exactly the same thing,growth scan couldn't be done please come back tomorrow. Absolutely piss poor organisation this wasnt the only indident, but I have 3000 letters so can't really tell you about other experiences.

We won't be going back to this hospital because of these experiences.

The cafe and car parking prices are an absolute disgrace aswell, talk about kicking the low when they're at their lowest. Disgusting.
