"The most astonishing place"

The care given to both the (in) patient and relatives was outstanding at all levels.

Nursing care was extremely good, particularly from the HCAs, almost without exception. They were aware of the physical and psychological needs of the patient and responded promptly and appropriately when called.

They were very supportive of the family at all times and became our 'Farleigh Friends'.

The Housekeeping staff too were very thorough in their work and friendly to patient and relatives. Volunteers provided an admirable service which was cheerful, friendly and with a personal touch.

The food was wonderful; freshly cooked, of a very high standard and menus were imaginative and nourishing.

Our family member was an inpatient for some weeks so this review is based on observations over some time.

It is an example of all that is best in health care institutions.
