from the moment of checking in the service was what i would describe as gold standard care. charge nurse shona was first of the team i met. she could sense my anxiety and did all she could to put me at ease. she answered all my questions in a way which felt thoughtful.
there were too many in the team to remember names partly because of the sedation but each and every one was lovely and reassuring. each one understood my worries and did their best to distract me and try to help me relax.
unfortunately i had one procedure but not the other due my inability to tolerate this but the recovery area team were so lovely as i was a little upset and frustrated with myself.
i really want to say what a lovely cohesive team. the scope unit and recovery area thereafter really understand care and people. i want to say a massive thank you for the care and compassion shown to me today.
