"GP looking for symptoms in google, stubborn and..."

About: Tennant Street Medical Practice

My baba was born prem and still have lots of problems and he’s under lots of specialist, which for I can’t say thanks to my GP.. we been continiously visiting GP for the last year for my little ones skin condition...and each time we went - GP kept repeating - its eczema and kept prescribing dozen of different ointments, which worked only for week or two on the skin (GP was aware about it). I asked for allergy test and been refused saying its eczema and has nothing to do with allergies though knew that my baba is on full milk formula and porridge teice per day. All I’ve been asked was for 4 weeks diet my baba was though my LO was only on formula and porridge twice daily, nothing else.. then I asked for referral to see germatologist as his skin on one part of body became raw and looked very paintfuk..again, I’ve been refused though I begged GP to refer us..finally..I, by myself heard lots of about milk intollerance..so decided to swap cow’s milk for Soya and oat milk as well as cut down the formula..and my LO skin condition improved after first week!!! Then we had to contact our pediatrics team to get referral to dermatologist and now we been diagnosed with uncommon skin condition which refer to my LO prematurity..I’m so frustrated that we wasted nearly one year by trusting our GP and everytime I felt pain seeing my LO suffering.. Now I lost trust completely in this surgery, because I couldn’t find any proffesionism in GP actions...also we been asked to leave the cabinet just because my LO was too loud..though I found receptionist very helpful and nurses vety nice and proffesional.. I’m changing my GP, because I feel they will make us more ill..

I am so sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the doctor.

I would like to investigate this further but would need you to contact the surgery and ask to speak to me, Jane Dalgleish, and I will be more than happy to look into this for you and provide you with some feedback.
