From initial consultation to operation there was no time at all.From reception staff to theatre staff at every point the knowledge, wisdom, advice and putting at ease was second nature. Have had many bad experiences of eye issues that left me with much fear at other hospitals. Dreading the day of operation, I was so delighted to meet such dedicated teams of professionals in the day care ward. Much reassurances were given to boost confidence, to feel at ease throughout the procedure always. The procedure was beyond belief. I felt no pain thankfully. Reassurance was on hand throughout . I felt valued as a person. Had the privilege of a nurse by my side throughout. The surgeon was a breath of fresh air in his discussion with me prior to procedure reducing my anxieties.

Throughout the procedure he was calm, informative and he had a great sense of humour appropriately used. Fears were unfounded. The delivery of a 5* service, with the wow and x factors has to be experienced to be believed.

The surgeon, together with his outstanding A teams at every level, provide outstanding quality care.
