"Reduced Movements"

About: Victoria Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

Yesterday I was anxious that my baby wasn’t moving as much as she normally would. I am currently 36 weeks pregnant. I phoned the MAU and explained the situation to the midwife. The level of understanding, reassurance and support I got was second to none. Arriving at the hospital I was monitored and baby started moving fine. At no point was I made to feel I shouldn’t have come, actually quite the opposite. They were glad I went to get checked and everything be fine rather than not. It’s so reassuring to know that the people who will help me deliver my daughter as so compassionate, caring and will look after our wellbeing.
