"Birth of my son"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50)

(as a service user),

I want to thank all the staff from QEUH labour suite involved in the birth of my son. I feel the care I received from the moment I entered labour suite to be of the highest standard and even when things got a bit scary they helped me feel they were always in complete control of the situation and guided me to make the right decision for both me and my unborn child. The medical and midwifery team were beyond a shadow of a doubt amazing and from working in the NHS myself I feel very lucky to have received the care I did and to have experienced people who are truly fantastic at the job they do.

Dear CCN

Thank you for your feedback on Care Opinion and many congratulations on the birth of your son.

It is lovely to hear that you received such excellent care and support from all members of the team during your time in the QEUH Labour Ward. I have passed your kind comments on to the team and they were delighted to receive this.

I hope you and your young baby are doing well at home and enjoying this time as a growing family.

Best wishes

Mairi
