"What's happened to this surgery?"

About: Park Street Surgery

This surgery used to be very good but it seems to have gone downhill fast over this past year. Time was you could make an appointment with your own doctor on line and it would be within a fortnight, not possible to make online appointments now. You could ring in and make a pre appointment, no pre appointments now. You ring in and you're told to ring in the next morning which you do and after getting the engaged tone and eventually getting an answer you are told that all the appointments for that day have gone and to ring back the next morning. How long is this intolerable situation going to go on. Me and my family have been patients with this surgery for over forty years and I don't have the words to describe how let down I feel by how poor this surgery has become..

I apologise for your distress with trying to get an appointment.

Over the last few months both Dr Stanley and Dr Chung have stepped down from being partners with the surgery but have stayed on as salaried doctors but are working less sessions.

We have now got the sessions covered both with salaried doctors and locums and we have a new doctor starting late September and I hope that this will resolve our problems.

We will be putting on more appointments to book in advance and also more appointment to book online.

Again our apologies

Pauline Sweeney, Practice Manager
