"They helped improve my quality of life"

I would like to share my experience on how good going to the IAPT West Ealing was in order to overcome my health anxiety.

I had the pleasure to have Menah Raven-Ellison as my CBT therapist during that time and she showed me how important working on my thoughts/emotions/behaviours was in order to improve my quality of life.

I felt very supported by her during the whole process while I was building up my own confidence. I have to say that my quality of life has improved remarkably as I know by now how to manage my anxiety moments and, therefore, my health anxiety is under control.

I would like to encourage people with mental health to ask the IAPT for help as it is a waste of time to keep on trying to recover by yourself when you can see that it is too much time trying over and over and always ending up in the same mistake again and again. Do not be scared about telling these professionals about your mental health problems as you are going to be treated professionally and your life is going to be improved.
