I have visited BRI several times now, my experience in A and E is basically, like most hospitals there are waiting times. And although there are complaints regarding waiting to be seen I would say the waiting times are much better than other hospitals I have been to. I can also say that the wait is worth it anyway for the professional friendly experience. I have also visited the Maternity ward and women and newborns department, these wards are fantastic and they sti k to schedule ensuring you are seen to promptly and professionally. I also ended up having an out of hours appointment in the maternity department early this morning and the staff were so lovely and understanding of my concerns and are genuinely good people who really do their best for you.I suffer with anxiety and depression as well as severe trauma from a hospital stay in a different hospital, and I can quite easily say that visiting this fantastic hospital has helped me get over my fear of hospitals and has completely changed my negative view on them. A huge thank you to our amazing NHS and all the brilliant staff within BRI who work together to make it a much easier place to visit.
