"VERY HAPPY WITH WALKIN SERVICE"

We were extremely worried about extremely high blood pressure readings and arrived early on a Sunday afternoon. There was a space in the car park. We virtually walked straight to Reception and gave our details. Our name was recognised so it might be that they see basic med info. It seemed like a few minutes until we were called into Triage. The speciality nurse was listening, understanding, compassionate and explained many things about blood pressure after measuring it with a reliable manual machine. She couldn't fix our lives but calmed some of our real fears. Her BP figure was much lower so she said monitor it & then decide point to go back to our GP.

We have been there just once before when my elderly mother became ill at Christmas. That was stressful but again they were really helpful & caring.
