"Knee arthroscopy"

About: St Michael's Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I am very impressed with the care I received at st michaels hospital in Hayle, Cornwall, a special mention for Arron who looked after me from start to finish, I was very nervous as this was my first op and Arron made me feel so much more relaxed than I imagined, every member of staff were friendly, helpful and very informative, I have a serious needle phobia and the anaesthetist agreed to put me to sleep via gas before he inserted the cannula, I cannot thank everyone enough

Dear MrsLJ,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you on here. I was so pleased to read about the care you received from Arron and the wider team at St Michaels Hospital, who helped you through your first operation. It is lovely to see that you found the staff friendly and informative, and that they were able to help you manage your needle phobia.

I am responding to you as a member of the Patient and Family Experience Team, but I will ensure that I share your story with the team at St Michael's Hospital, I'm sure they will enjoy reading about your experience as I have.

Best wishes,

Jess
