Went for this procedure yesterday.  I wasn't looking forward to it.  The nurse taking my initial details (sorry can't remember his name) was very friendly, had an excellent manner and explained everything to me - which was very reassuring. 

The surgical team were also very good, again explaining everything and  keeping me reassured.  The procedure was uncomfortable but it didn't take too long.  I was given the results after the test.  Overall, I'm delighted with the level of service provided.

We appreciate that attending for an endoscopy can be an anxious time for people. It is reassuring that you felt you were treated well during your time in the department. We try to ensure each person is treated well and dignity is respected during their time in the department.

Staff work hard to ensure the patient experience is as comfortable as we can. I will ensure your feedback is shared with the nursing team and medical/surgical staff.
