"The things that really matter"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

Gill the play specialist at RCHT is always fab. She makes everyone at ease. She's kind and patient. Made my child's fear of cannulas a little easier. Kel, our surgeon, was so great, explained everything along with Jez the anaesthetist and Iluna our nurse.

The food could be better as could the attitude of the catering staff. And the TV could do with servicing in the parents room. Overall the things that really mattered, mattered. We felt our experience and our daughter received the best care, genuine care. Kind approachable and reassuring team!! Thank God!!

Dear slideyz37

At RCHT Mitie tries to ensure every patients nutritional needs are met. If the services do not meet the patients expectation or requirement then an escalation plan is in place via the nursing staff to make the changes required.

If this did not happen in this instance then we offer our sincere apologises and we will take your comments on board to build in improvements. We know that food is very important when you are in hospital and we will try and provide alternatives if they are more suitable.

Kind regards

Claire Billing
